Why I’m Your Travel Guru

Travel planning isn’t new to me. For over 20 years, I’ve been the mastermind behind epic family vacations and unforgettable group adventures. My husband can attest—I practically have a Ph.D. in research and logistics! Turning that passion into a full-time gig was a no-brainer.

Now, I leverage my experience to craft exceptional travel itineraries—not just for myself, but for you! I tirelessly research destinations, uncover hidden gems, and negotiate fantastic deals on flights, accommodations, and activities. Everything I learn becomes your travel treasure map, ensuring you experience the best a place has to offer.

I will tell you that, with all of my planning experience, and type-A tendencies, I have actually become a bit of a “fly by the seat of my pants traveler” in the past year. This is shocking to everyone in my personal life! I can still plan one heck of a vacation. However, when you travel as much as I do, I just don’t have the time or the energy to create masterful by the minute itineraries for myself anymore. But it has made travel so much more exciting and I find all kinds of hidden gems because I talk to locals  and I tend to get off the beaten path more.

Here’s What Sets Me Apart:

  • Seasoned Travel Planner: With over two decades of experience organizing trips for families and groups, I know the ins and outs of navigating the travel world, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
  • Authentic Expertise: I personally explore destinations, test out itineraries, and handpick the best experiences for you. My recommendations come straight from the source, ensuring authenticity and quality.
  • Budget Savvy: Luxury experiences on a shoestring budget? You got it! I’m a master at finding hidden gems and maximizing value without sacrificing quality.

FAQ

I love traveling, which I think we have established! I have been to 21 Countries and 30 states! Domestically in the US, some of my favorite places to visit are, of course, many destinations throughout the state of Florida! We are blessed to live in a state where many people vacation. We probably take 1-2 mini trips per month somewhere in state. I love the beach, and we lived Clearwater for many years (but now reside in the Palm Beach area) so I love going back to Clearwater Beach. We also spend a lot of time in Orlando because our kids love Universal and Disney, but there are so many more amazing places in the state to explore and I will certainly be talking about many of them. Outside of Florida, I love New Orleans, New York City, LA, Arizona, Chicago, Savannah, The Jasper/Big Canoe, GA area, we love to ski to various place in Colorado, Utah,  Vermont and Nantucket. I just went to Nantucket for the first time this summer and truly fell in LOVE, I will be back!

Internationally, I did not have a chance to travel until I was an adult, but I am thrilled that we have had many chances to take our children outside of the US and expose them to other countries and cultures! Again, I do love the beach…but some of my favorites trips have been areas that were not focused on beach travel. For example, my favorite city (presently…until something beats it) is Paris! I LOVE Paris! and I have a slight (or MAJOR) obsession with the Eiffel Tour!  I have been twice and we brought our children and my parents with us the past time we visited. I was actually planning to spend a good deal of the summer of 2020 in Paris with our two daughters, but unfortunately the world had other plans. I still plan to go spend a summer in Paris some day, but it will likely have to wait now, as I have to kids in high school (with one headed to college next year). I also LOVED Dubai! This trip was my husband’s idea, which is funny because I am the traveler. I decide where to go and plan all of the trips and he just goes along. He doesn’t really love to travel, but he loves me, so he does it (how lucky and I!). But, one day he said he wanted to go to Dubai and I was so excited he chose a place for an international trip, I jumped right on planning it, and it was fabulous! Some other locations we have been to and loved include Ireland, St. Thomas, San Juan, Montreal, St. Kitts, Grand Cayman, Amsterdam, Jamaica, Honduras, St. Marteen, Belize, St. Lucia, Cancun, and Cozumel. We love the Caribbean and enjoy both cruising there and staying in the islands.

In just the past year, I have adding several international destinations…and I have fallen in love with every one of them! Morocco, French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moore, Marquesas Islands, Spain (Ibiza, Mallorca, Barcelona, Pamplona), Portugal (Lisbon, Porto Covo, Algarve, Lagos), France (Marseille, Nice), Monaco, Italy (Rome, Venice, Positano, Capri, Pisa), Aruba, Curaçao, and probably a few more…

Up next we are headed back to Ireland and London!

I know it’s not terribly exotic but I have been to Mexico many times, but never to Cabo San Lucas, so that is a trip that I definitely plan to take. I am thinking that Greece is probably a high priority as both of my daughters really want to go, so I see some sort of family trip there in the future. Unbelievably, I have never been to Napa and that is definitely a trip I plan to take in the near future (I am a huge wine lover)! It never really appealed to me, but we have had some friends really enjoy going on Safari in Africa, so I think that is moving onto my list…but even if I didn’t do a Safari, I definitely would like to visit South Africa. Thailand and Singapore would be a great trip, definitely Bali too. I would also love to visit Iceland…and that is just to name a few! There is still so much of the world to see, I feel like I am just getting started!
